Hawaii Dog Foundation
Hawaii Dog Foundation is a
no-kill dog rescue organization based on Oahu. HDF is
run entirely by volunteers. Although we don't have a
central office or shelter that you can visit, we hold
Meet & Greets on a regular basis so that you can
come and meet our dogs. Please see the
Adoption Information or

Kai Aloha Apt. Hotel
There once was a time when
the largest hotel in Waikiki was only 6 stories high. In
fact, there were only two large hotels (for that time)
in Waikiki - the Royal Hawaiian and the Moana. It was a
much simpler and friendlier time as well. Hawaii was
still a calm relatively remote paradise in the middle of
the Pacific - the ideal place to escape from the
everyday rat race with your family. The Spirit of Aloha
was alive and well and thriving in the small tourist
area named after the infamous beach it fronted -
Waikiki. Waikiki's hotels were mainly small "low-key"
two or three story buildings owned and operated by a
local family.. It was a
